My adventures in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico has so many things to do and a passport is not needed for United States citizens to travel there. Due to Puerto Rico being a highly visited place, we were able to stay at a resort where we could find tourist near by. Even though Spanish is the primary language a lot of Puerto Ricans speak english or can understand it. We went during spring break and there were many Americans around the resort area.

The weather was always warm when we went and we were able to enjoy the beaches, lakes, and pools near the resort. One of my favorite places to visit was Cascada Gozalandia located in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.  There was various ropes attached to the trees near by that we could hang unto and jump into the water on. There was two small water falls located around the area in the picture.

One of the other beautiful places we went to was Aguadilla Puerto rico at a  Crash Boat beach. My friend and I wen snorkeling there. The water was clear we were able to see so many fishes and there was a very rich marine life located there. We brought crackers and all the fish would come to us. It was a very beautiful experience.  The picture bellow shows one of my friends snorkeling at the beach.

One of the most beautiful things in Puerto Rico was the music always playing in the background anywhere we went. They either played Reggaeton which is a mix of reggae and hip hop beats, Salsa, or bachata. Everywhere we went we saw billboards of Bad Bunny or Ozuna who are international Reggaeton artists. The bars we went to were like no other bar we have been to here in the United States. Everyone would dance beautifully, they all looked like professional dancers in my eyes.

The people in puerto rico are like no other, they were very friendly and welcoming. We made many friendships there that will last a life time. Puerto Ricans, or boricuas as they call themselves, respect their island and show their flag with pride. They love their island and anyone who visits it can see why.

  1. Enjoyed reading this blog! You formatted it very well! You described Puerto Rico's atmosphere very well. Your use of vivid vocabulary helped establish imagery of what you experienced while you were there. The people there also sound very nice from what you described! This blog post was very effective in detailing your adventures in Puerto Rico, and maybe even more details would help enhance it further.
